Back with our trip experience, as we moved away from the buildings, and the incessant noise and stress of the city; we started connecting even more with nature, which made our senses and emotions run high after seeing the amazing frailejones.

Before getting to the Páramo, we had to lower the windows of the car slightly in order to acclimatize our bodies. Also, our bodies needed to adapt to the temperature of the height of the Páramo to avoid the famous Altitude Sickness ( See post about Altitude Sickness. )🥶.

On the road, we had the opportunity to make some stops to observe the different landscapes around Sifón thermal waters such as Laguna Negra; we also took the opportunity to get some groceries, and take some photos in this place.

After 1 hour of driving along the unpaved road, we were able to observe beautiful views of mountains and rocky landscapes full of frailejones. We arrived at a sector known as El Sifón, where we found a small house which offers the store service 🏡 (They will only find snacks), there we were able to stock up on some snacks such as chips and soft drinks. Additionally, the house also registers the people who are going to enter Sifón thermal waters.
